Bear Paw 5 K results

          Feel and hear the thrill of a crowd while you run, walk or skip your way through the streets of Eagle River when you join in the Bear Paw Classic 5K race at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday - July 10th. 

          Coordinated by Chugiak High School Cross Country Running & Ski Team, the race will start at Plaza Seven Mall (adjacent to Taco Bell) and run the parade route, running amidst the cheering crowds gathered for the classic and the 25th annual Bear Paw Festival Grand Parade.

• The race starts at Farm Avenue & Old Glenn
• Travels South to Business Blvd
• Take a Right on Business Blvd.
• Run Past cheering crowds to Centerfield Drive
• Take a right on Centerfield
• Take a right through the woods
• Take a right on Brooks
• Run Brooks to Glenn Hwy Bike Trail
• Take a right on Bike Trail and travel North
• Take a right on Northgate
• Take a right on Old Glenn
• End at the Eagle River Presbyterian Church!!!

          Entry fee is $20 for individuals, $60 for entire families.  Registration on race day is $25 for individuals and $70 for families.

         All pre-registered receive a free Bear Paw Classic T-shirt. Race day entry is from 8:30 - 9:30 am  T-shirt and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrants.
