The Infamous Rotary Ididaduck Rubber Ducky Race

“Swimming on the Boulevard”
This quacky contest, held at 4:30 PM Sunday, July 12th, is the final major event of the Bear Paw Festival.

Eagle River Rotary Club members dump more than 1000 numbered, plastic ducks into the race slough in front of the main stage.  Each duck was “sold” beforehand, and the lucky ducks whose quacker cross the finish line could be the grand prize winner!  Along with the grand prize, there are tons of prizes for the ducks that are awarded at the end!

Race tickets are $10 apiece and will be available through the month of June and during the Bear Paw Festival. Funds raised support youth programs and scholarships sponsored by the organization.
